Dermatopathology Fellowship

Available position - July 2018

This is a two-year-fellowship program, which provides excellent training

in dermatopathology. The first year is devoted to basic research and the

second year is the ACGME accredited year. The fellowship offers a

well-balanced large case load of inflammatory and neoplastic skin disease.

Training DermatopathologyDr. Earl Glusac reviews slides with Yale residents, many of whom go on to practice dermatopathology throughout the world.

Fellowship Experiences

Fellows participate in daily sign outs, Grand Rounds presentations, Melanoma Conference, and teaching conferences for the residents. Depending on their primary specialty fellows receive additional training in dermatology or anatomic pathology. Experience in immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, interpretation of MOHS specimens, and laboratory management is provided as well. Research projects and presentations at local, national, and international meetings are encouraged.
